If you do not have anything like this available at the moment, the worship leader will request something along these lines from you as the next step in the process. This is in lieu of an in-person audition, and is intended to help evaluate musical ability, while alleviating some of the pressure that can accompany an in-person "try-out". We are not professionals, and we are not looking for professionals! But there is biblical precedent for those who lead congregational worship to do so skillfully.
How will serving on the worship team affect your schedule? *
You must be able to serve a minimum of 1 Sunday per month (6:45a-12:00p). At the moment, the only times that we have mid-week rehearsals are for Good Friday, Easter, December, and Christmas Eve. But it is expected that you will practice your musical parts at home ahead of time and come to Sundays prepared for rehearsal/soundcheck.
